ZUMBA: Spain x Reader

You've always needed to lose a couple pounds, so you took up the most fun way to exercise. From the feedback you've received about the Latin dance program ZUMBA, you thought you'd give it a shot. So, armed with water and a towel, you drove out to the center where the class is being held. The only other person in there is a guy who appears to be the instructor. He's doing warm-up dance to some very pop-y Latin music, which he's lip-syncing to. You stare at him. Damn, was he hot. He notices you. "Oh, hola~! You must be new." A Spanish accent is draped over his speech. You blush slightly and smile. "Yeah, I'm (First name) (Last name)."

"Alright, Miss (Last name)," he strolls over to a clipboard and a money box. "That'll be $5." You dig in your purse and find you left your wallet at home. "Shit," you mutter. "You forgot the money?" He asks understandingly. You nod. The instructor picks up his wallet and takes a five out, and sticks it in the money box. Your face flushes again. "T-Thank you!" You stutter as he writes your name on the clipboard. "Oh, how rude of me to not introduce myself. I'm Antonio Fernandeź-Carriedo~" His name rolls off his lips like honey. "Antonio." You repeat. "Sí."

Class is starting. It's just you, surprisingly. "Alright, this is just fine." Antonio says, taking a deep breath in. You stand in the middle of the floor awkwardly. "Come stand next to me, (Name)." He gently tugs you next to him. "Just watch me." He picks up a remote and presses a button, and an upbeat Latin song comes on. He starts dancing, and after a second, you start trying to mimic him. You're nowhere near as graceful as the brunette, but you try. He's grinning as he dances to the Spanish pop. You smile. This is fun.

"So, (Name)," Antonio says, rubbing a towel on his sweaty locks. You're drinking a bit of water, panting slightly, exhausted. "Yeah?" You say between breaths. "Maybe you'd like to go out for coffee or something?" You fall silent, and your breathing hitches a little. "...Sure." You respond. Antonio hands you a pen and offers you his hand. After a second, you figure out what he wants, and scribble your number onto his palm. "Gracias, chica~" He muses. "Denada, amigo." You smile.
